This week in Beijing features discounted crêpes, a comedic love story, and a pet-friendly Chinese New Year celebration.
**Eat – 50% Off Sweet Crêpes at Panorama**
Tomorrow (Feb 2), Panorama will celebrate La Chandeleur by offering 50% off all their sweet crêpes. For those who may not know, La Chandeleur is a French holiday observed on February 2. Originally a pagan festival, it evolved into a Christian celebration by the 4th century. Today, it is less religious and serves as an occasion for families to come together and enjoy crêpes, similar to Pancake Day.
If you'd like to join in the celebration or simply grab some delicious sweet crêpes, visit Panorama tomorrow! We highly recommend the Tatin Crêpe, which is inspired by Tarte Tatin, featuring a crêpe topped with apple flambéed in rum, caramel, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream.
