All the Exciting Entertainment at Culturopolis

      Culturopolis is just around the corner, and to get you as excited as we are, let's take a look at our amazing entertainment lineup set to take the stage this weekend. From January 31 to February 1, you can expect a dynamic blend of live bands, singing performances, dance exhibitions, interactive experiences, and the 2026 Beijing International High School Battle of the Bands. Whether you’re in the mood to dance or simply enjoy the atmosphere while sampling food, this lineup promises to maintain a vibrant energy throughout the day.

      Zumba Dance Party by ClassPass

      At Culturopolis, ClassPass will host two Zumba Dance Parties on January 31 and February 1. Don’t hesitate to join in! Dance along with the instructor to burn off those calories from the food vendors! ClassPass is a fitness and wellness platform that allows users to book a variety of classes and services without committing to a membership. Just check the ClassPass WeChat Mini-program to reserve gym classes (like Yoga, Pilates, Cycling, CrossFit, HIIT, Boxing, and BJJ) and beauty/SPA services at over 2,000 studios in 17 cities!

      Lucky Draw! After each Zumba session, ClassPass will hold a lucky draw, with two winners per session receiving 30 ClassPass credits (valued at RMB 360), which can be used for classes and services at all partner venues.

      Katerina From Georgia's Feast

      Ekaterina Fomenko, a singer and official artist of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, was honored by Russian Ambassador Denisov in Beijing for her significant contributions to promoting Russian culture in China. Since 2021, she has performed as a lead vocalist at top venues across Dubai, entertaining royal family members and Hollywood celebrities. Her artistic journey spans around the world, garnering awards in international competitions in cities like Vladivostok, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Barcelona, Beijing, and Yalta. Since returning to Beijing in 2025, she regularly performs at Georgia's Feast.

      That'll Learn Ya

      From the YCIS Beijing Performing Arts Department, Mr. Stevenson, Mr. Robb, and Mr. Fellows will perform a selection of songs from various decades. With years of live musical experience, they are excited to perform at Culturopolis and represent their school community!

      Indian Dancing

      Recommended by Dastaan Indian Restaurant, the Indian dance groups Madhuri Dance Troupe and Zhenzhen's Niche Arts will showcase a stunning performance featuring Bollywood dance, Indian folk dance, Odissi (classical Indian dance), and Kathak (classical Indian dance).

      End of the World

      End of the World is a vibrant ska band celebrating 25 years in the Beijing Rock scene. With all original songs influenced by second and third wave ska, punk, surf rockabilly, and big band, there’s something for everyone on the dance floor!

      VOX Vocal Ensemble

      VOX Vocal Ensemble is an elite choir from Shunyi's international community focused on performing on the global stage. Coached by experienced musicians from top U.S. music institutions, the ensemble has become a crossover choir of international caliber. The name "VOX," derived from Latin and meaning "voice," emphasizes a return to the essence of the human voice in pursuit of the most heartfelt and beautiful choral harmonies.

      Alberto Casartelli

      Alberto Casartelli is an Italian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Milan. His music has been featured on CCTV, including his song "Transfer Power" for the Beijing Winter Olympics. He also wrote lyrics for Jay Chou’s song "Amore Mio," which was performed on Chou’s TV show. A winner of the 2023 "Together Sing My Song" Tianjin Original Public Welfare Song Competition, he has performed extensively in Italy and taught guitar and bass. He continues to create music with his own band, bridging Chinese and Italian musical cultures.

      Battle of the Bands

      Founded by an international high school student in Beijing in 2024, the Beijing International High School Battle of the Bands is a key highlight of Culturopolis. For the 2026 edition, we are excited to welcome M board as its Exclusive Music Empowerment Partner, a progressive force in music and a collaborator in shaping youth music opportunities.

      M board has introduced the "Best Original Song Award," which offers valuable prizes and professional music industry access. Committed to fostering true musical passion and original expression, this partnership also marks the beginning of M board's Long-term Growth Empowerment Program, aimed at enhancing the journey of young bands.

      We are grateful to M board for supporting these aspiring musicians, as together we elevate youth voices.

      This year’s Battle of the Bands features 13 international high school bands competing in an epic showdown! Among the contenders are previous "Battle of the Bands" runners-up eager to claim the title, established campus bands that have evolved through various line-up
