Exciting news for wine enthusiasts! November marks the official wine season in Beijing, with a variety of wine tastings scheduled over the next few days and weeks. Here are some events you won't want to miss.
Final Wine Tasting at uh-huh
We previously announced that the wine bistro uh-huh would be closing down in November, but before that happens, they are hosting a final wine tasting this Thursday (Nov 13) starting at 6pm. The theme is “Be Our Wine Judge,” featuring two “mystery friends” from uh-huh who will present three personal wine selections to compete against one another. Participants will enjoy a six-glass tasting flight and have the opportunity to score their favorite! Additionally, there will be live DJ music from DJ Cleopatri. If you cannot attend the tasting, you can still visit uh-huh for their closing party on Nov 14.
The Be Our Wine Judge Tasting Vol. 8 is set for uh-huh on Thu, Nov 13, from 6pm until late. The six-glass wine tasting set costs RMB 328 for one or RMB 618 for two, and reservations can be made by scanning the QR code in the poster above. More details about the event can be found here.

Two Upcoming Wine Tastings at Puzzles
Puzzles, located in Baochao Hutong, has two Wine Dinners lined up this month: one on Thu, Nov 13, at 7pm and another on Thu, Nov 27, at 7pm. The first dinner will be hosted by Alex from China Wines & Spirits (CWS), featuring wines from five different regions. The second dinner on Nov 27 will showcase a variety of Australian wines, led by Cooper from ASC Fine Wines. Both events will also serve a selection of Puzzles' signature dishes, including Flammkuchen and Stuffed Paprika.

Greywacke Winemaker Dinner at DI Chinese Restaurant
On Friday (Nov 14), the InterContinental Beijing Beichen will host a Greywacke Winemaker Dinner at the hotel's DI Chinese Restaurant at 7pm. This event will be presented by Alex Judd from the New Zealand winery Greywacke and will feature six different wines paired with a signature menu from DI Chinese Restaurant, including an appetizer, soup, main courses, dumplings, and desserts. Jean Chartron 2023 Vintage Parallel Tasting Dinner at United Fruit Co
On Mon, Nov 17, All In Wine will host a wine dinner with Jean-Michel Chartron from the Jean Chartron wine producer at United Fruit Co at 7pm. Established in 1859 in Puligny-Montrachet, France, Jean Chartron is a prestigious Burgundy winery recognized for its wines that reflect the character of the Côte de Beaune. The dinner will include a guided tasting of seven 2023 vintage white wines paired with six dishes. Details can be found in the posters below.
