Christmas is quickly approaching, and a variety of Christmas markets will be taking place throughout Beijing in the coming weeks. We have highlighted some key markets to mark on your calendar, and we will keep you updated on any additional markets once they are announced.
**Makers Market at Beersmith**
The Christmas market season begins this Sunday (Nov 16) with the Makers Market at Beersmith. The market will be open from noon to 6pm, featuring local creators from Beijing and beyond selling their products. Admission is free.
**Location:** Beersmith, 1/F, Hotel Jen Beijing, 1 Jianguomen Waidajie, Chaoyang District.
**Event hours:** Nov 16, 12-6pm.
**Village de Noël Christmas Market at Flo**
The annual French-themed Village de Noël Christmas Market will return to Maison FLO on Nov 22, taking place every weekend from 11am to 7pm until Dec 21. This market offers a variety of food, drinks, handicrafts, live entertainment, and activities, which are detailed in the poster below. Early bird tickets (RMB 19.9/person) are available until Nov 15, after which regular tickets (RMB 29.9/person) will be sold. **WAB Winter Market**
The Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) is hosting their Winter Market on Sat, Nov 22, from 10am to 3pm at WAB Elementary School. Expect a cozy atmosphere with handcrafted jewelry, eco-friendly products, and local art, alongside unique holiday gifts and a variety of home-cooked dishes from around the world. There will also be fun games and prizes for kids, plus the Winter Market Raffle featuring prizes worth over RMB 300,000 donated by community sponsors. Admission is free.

**German Christmas Charity Bazaar**
The German Christmas Charity Bazaar will occur on Nov 29 from 1pm to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm, and on Nov 30 from 11am to 2pm and 3pm to 6pm. You can look forward to traditional German specialties such as Glühwein, Currywurst, Leberkäse, iced gingerbread cookies, and handmade gifts. Tickets are RMB 140/adult and RMB 20/child, going on sale on Nov 18 at noon. **BSB Shunyi Winter Fair & German Market**
The British School of Beijing (BSB) will hold their Winter Fair and German Market on Sat, Dec 6, from 3pm to 7pm at their Shunyi campus. This family-friendly event captures the cozy atmosphere of a traditional German Christmas market, featuring wooden huts, handcrafted items, hot food, fresh waffles, rich hot chocolate, and mulled wine. Enjoy festive student performances, the Christmas tree lighting, fun games for kids, and a chance to meet Santa. Admission is free, and you can learn more about it here.

**BSB Sanlitun Christmas Cracker**
For those not in Shunyi, the British School of Beijing will also host their BSB Christmas Cracker at their Sanlitun campus on Sat, Dec 6, from 10am to 2pm. This market is ideal for families with children, featuring various games, a raffle, baked goods, and more. The event is free to enter.
