      This week, our To Try List features the newly opened Rosy Bay by Liangma River, the return of the Thai Fest, a terrace party at the Mandarin Oriental, new Cantonese offerings near Sanyuanqiao, and much more.

      **Rosy Bay Opens Along Liangma River**

      Rosy Bay has recently launched its location along the Liangma River, opposite Solana. With a stunning terrace and rooftop offering riverside views, it’s an ideal spot to enjoy food and drinks during the summer. Specializing in New Zealand cuisine, must-try dishes include New Zealand Venison Pizza (RMB 118), Manuka Honey Roast Chicken (RMB 68), and Volcanic Stone Grilled Beef Burger (RMB 88). The drink menu features various coffees, craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails in the evening. They are currently in a soft opening phase, and the full operating hours are listed below.

      **Thai Festival Returns to Chaoyang Park**

      Next weekend, from May 30 to 31, the Thai Festival will return to Chaoyang Park, bringing a celebration of Thai culture to the city. Organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Beijing, festival highlights will include a variety of authentic Thai food and beverages, cultural performances, and experiential activities showcasing the sights, sounds, and flavors of Thailand right in Beijing.       The Thai Festival will be held at Fusion Square in Chaoyang Park, operating from 10:30am to 6pm on May 30-31. Admission to the festival is completely free.

      **Above the Skyline Terrace Party at Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing**

      On Friday, May 29, the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing will host an "Above the Skyline" party on their beautiful terrace overlooking the Forbidden City. Guests can indulge in a carefully curated East-meets-West fusion buffet, featuring a Beijing Duck station, an Iberian ham carving table, and an oyster and caviar ice bar. Guest mixologists from establishments like Pony Up and Tiao will team up with the MO Bar crew to create exclusive cocktails for the event.

      Tickets include the buffet and two specialty cocktails from guest mixologists. Early bird tickets are sold out, with standard tickets priced at RMB 588 per person. The night will also feature entertainment such as a fashion show, contemporary dance, and live DJ performances.

      The Above the Skyline Terrace Party will occur at the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing on Friday, May 29, from 6:30pm until late. Standard tickets are RMB 588 each.

      **Cantonese Restaurant Fuaxi Opens New Branch Near Sanyuanqiao**

      Cantonese Restaurant Fuaxi has opened a new location near Sanyuanli Market, just up the road from Sanyuanqiao. This marks their third branch in Beijing, offering traditional Cantonese cuisine, particularly focused on roast meats. Signature dishes include various roast goose options, dim sum such as har gow and siu mai, clay pot meals, congee, and more.

      The interior design reflects a classic Hong Kong-style dai pai dong ambiance, featuring warm lighting, vintage wooden furniture, retro tiles, and neon signs. An open roast meat display at the entrance showcases hanging roast goose, char siu, and duck, complemented by an open kitchen where chefs can be seen in action, providing a market-like atmosphere.
