      New Direct Flight Route Between Beijing and Finland

      Starting on March 29, China Southern will launch a direct flight route connecting Beijing with Helsinki, Finland. Flights will depart from and arrive at Daxing International Airport (PKX) in Beijing and Helsinki–Vantaa Airport (HEL) in Helsinki.

      Beijing to Helsinki (CZ8171)

      - Departs from Beijing at 2:45 PM (local time)

      - Arrives in Helsinki at 6:35 PM (local time)

      Helsinki to Beijing (CZ8172)

      - Departs from Helsinki at 8:35 PM (local time)

      - Arrives the following day in Beijing at 9:45 AM (local time)

      During the initial phase from March 29 to June 19, this flight route will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays. From June 20 to at least October 24, there will be daily flights on this route.

      This marks China Southern's first connection with Finland and Daxing Airport’s inaugural link to Northern Europe. The route will be serviced by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

      New Space Science and Technology Venue to Open Later This Month

      The majority of the construction for a new space science and technology venue in Beijing is complete, with a public opening scheduled for the end of April. The China (Beijing) Aerospace Science Center, spanning 3,700 square meters and located within the HOPSON 超极合生汇 shopping center in Changping District, will focus on public science education through engaging exhibitions and immersive experiences.

      Designed specifically for children and teenagers aged 6 to 16, the center includes six main themed exhibition areas: Human Space Exploration, Rocket Launch Site, Satellite Research Institute, Tiangong Space Station, Lunar Base, and Deep Space Exploration Center.

      Participants can enjoy hands-on experiences in laboratory settings, along with a Mars base experience zone that offers interactive activities such as mining and constructing a shelter on Mars.

      Several authoritative space organizations, including the Beijing Institute of Space Science and Technology Information, have contributed to the development of the center's courses and exhibit designs, utilizing national aerospace engineering data as the foundation for the information showcased.
