Chili's is preparing to launch its second location in Solana, Din Tai Fung makes its return to Beijing, and a new cocktail bar, Side By Side, is on the horizon, along with other highlights on our To Try List this week.
Chili's Opening in Solana and New Juice Series Introduced
After debuting its first branch in Zhongguancun last December, Chili's is ready to open a second location in Solana. The expected opening is in May, and although we do not have many specific details yet, we anticipate they will offer their well-known Tex-Mex dishes and beverages.
In addition to the new branch, Chili's has also unveiled a fresh pressed juice series for spring. Made entirely from fresh fruits and vegetables, they offer four unique blends: The Hulk, Sunrise Glow, Vitamin C Rocket, and Berry Bliss (all priced at RMB 38). These new juices are currently available at their Zhongguancun outlet, with more details shown in the image above.

Din Tai Fung Returns to Beijing with New Kerry Center Location
Fans of Din Tai Fung who were disappointed by their departure in 2024 will be happy to learn they have returned to Beijing! The new branch is situated in the basement of the Kerry Center and is currently in soft opening, offering lunch and dinner services. While the menu has seen some updates, popular items like Pork Xiaolongbao (RMB 48 for six), various xiaolongbao, and Pork and Shrimp Shaomai (RMB 60 for six pieces) are still available.

New Cocktail Bar Side By Side Launches in Dongsi
This Thursday (Mar 12), a new cocktail bar named Side By Side, or SBS, will hold its official opening party. Located in Dongsi, SBS is taking over the evening service at CENCHI Coffee. A sister establishment of uh-huh and Tangled, SBS specializes in cocktails that highlight pairing, creating diverse flavors from a single ingredient. They will serve both experimental, signature drinks and classic cocktails. More information about this new venue can be found here.

Q Mex Unveils Taco World Series
Q Mex has launched a new Taco World Series, showcasing fusion taco creations inspired by different countries every three to four weeks. The inaugural edition features Korean Bulgogi Tacos (RMB 58 for two), which include Bulgogi beef, kimchi, spring onions, gochujang-spiced mayo, and sesame seeds.
They've also teased upcoming editions, with the next being USA-inspired Smash Burger Tacos, followed by Thai-flavored Red Curry Chicken Tacos. More details about both can be found in the image above. Great Leap Launches a New Brunch Free Flow Offer
Great Leap has introduced a new free flow deal to complement their weekend brunch offerings. Every Saturday and Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, guests can enjoy three hours of free-flow beverages for RMB 168. They have also added a new brunch item to the menu: Beef Shakshuka (RMB 68), a meatier take on the traditional North African and Middle Eastern dish, featuring eggs poached in a spicy beef tomato sauce. This brunch and free flow deal is available at all Great Leap locations except for the Doujiao Hutong branch; additional details can be found in the poster below.
Continental Breakfast Menu Now Offered at Panorama
Panorama has introduced a Continental Breakfast Menu, available on weekdays from 8:30am to 10am. The menu includes lighter options like Croissants (RMB 15) and more substantial choices such as the Brittany Breakfast (RMB 68), which features sunny-side-up eggs, avocado, bacon, sausage, roasted potatoes, and mushrooms served with whole wheat bread. Additionally, there are sweets such as Panorama French Toast (RMB 25), topped with berries, salted caramel sauce, and powdered sugar. More details about the new menu can be found here.
