Modernista has announced the return of its Tuesday Half Price Tapas & Paella promotion. Every Tuesday, customers can enjoy a 50 percent discount on all tapas and paella dishes throughout the evening. Additionally, Tuesdays host Modernista's regular Songwriter Series, and this week (Mar 10), Gangzi, the frontman and guitarist of the acclaimed Mongolian group Tulegur, will be performing. For those seeking affordable food and a relaxed atmosphere, Modernista is the place to be this Tuesday!
The Half Price Tapas & Paella promotion is available every Tuesday, all night. Gangzi will perform starting at 9pm, and entry is free.

Listen – Carlos Johnson and the Chicago All-Stars at Blue Note
This Thursday (Mar 12), blues icon Carlos Johnson and the Chicago All-Stars will grace the stage at Blue Note. A left-handed guitarist recognized for his passionate and intense style, Johnson has more than 40 years of experience in the Chicago blues scene, collaborating with legends such as Albert King, Buddy Guy, and Otis Rush.
For the Blue Note concert, he will be accompanied by top Chicago talent: drummer Pooky Styx, keyboardist Dan Souvigny, and bassist Jay Red, presenting a blend of classic Chicago blues infused with elements of jazz, funk, and soul.
Carlos Johnson & the Chicago All-Stars will perform at Blue Note on Thursday, Mar 12, beginning at 8pm (doors open at 6:30pm). Tickets start at RMB 360 per person and can be obtained by scanning the QR code on the poster above.

Revitalize – "Swap, Mend & MÝO: Three Acts of Spring Transformation" at MaisonFL
Next Sunday (Mar 15), MaisonFL will host "Swap, Mend & MÝO: Three Acts of Spring Transformation," an afternoon dedicated to refreshing your wardrobe and promoting sustainable fashion.
The event will feature a free clothing swap where attendees can exchange gently used items, a Mend Workshop by Hanging Sense (RMB 333, materials included) that teaches how to create unique accessories from upcycled materials, and a MÝO Alchémyko Station by VSP where guests can create a self-love potion (10 percent off the original price of RMB 207).
"Swap, Mend & MÝO" will take place on Sunday, Mar 15, from 2pm to 6:30pm. Admission is free and includes a welcome cocktail. The Mend Workshop costs RMB 333 and requires advance registration.
