      Participate – Quiz Night at Plan B on Wednesdays

      If you find yourself in the Shuangjing area on a Wednesday evening with no plans, Plan B is the place to go for trivia. Each team receives free popcorn chicken or wings, along with the chance for winners and one additional team to win food and drink vouchers. The event starts at 7:30 PM, but advance booking is recommended.

      Listen – Me and My Sandcastle + Simplicity Lover at DDC

      This Saturday at DDC, enjoy a night of lo-fi pop and psychedelic sounds featuring Me and My Sandcastle and Simplicity Lover (简约情人) as part of the venue's ongoing Everything Must Flow series. The former, established in Shanghai, will present a mix of bedroom pop and lo-fi indie pop, while the female-fronted Simplicity Lover will deliver a fully psychedelic performance. Don’t miss this relaxing Saturday night event.

      Visit – Zhengyangmen Archery Tower

      After months of renovations, the Zhengyangmen Archery Tower has been restored and is open to visitors. Guests can ascend to the tower’s top for stunning views of Qianmen Pedestrian Street below and discover the history of the tower and its link to the larger Central Axis at the interactive museum on-site. A new gift shop is also available, offering souvenirs like Central Axis-themed magnets and Beijing swallow plush toys.

      Zhengyangmen Archery Tower is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 9 AM to 5 PM (last entry at 4:30 PM). You can schedule a visit through the Beijing Central Axis Heritage Protection Center's official WeChat (Follow 北京中轴线遗产保护中心, then select “Services” and “预约参观”) with a passport and Chinese phone number.
