**Slider Nation WAB**
After much excitement from Beijing's burger scene, Slider Nation opened its first full restaurant in February. Located near the Western Academy of Beijing (WAB), patrons can enjoy a variety of delicious sliders and additional menu options such as tacos, snacks, and shareable plates. They also offer their signature slushies in both alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions.

**Gung Ho! Shuangjing**
Gung Ho! proudly returned to Shuangjing in March 2025, opening inside Space 3 Mall, which also houses Q MEX's Shuangjing branch. The Shuangjing location offers a selection of high-quality pizzas, pasta, salads, and more. Our personal favorite remains the classic Pepperoni (RMB 89), though we also enjoy the Lord of the Lambs (RMB 119) and Chicken with Bell Pepper (RMB 89). If you're indecisive about toppings, remember you can opt for a Half and Half Pizza.

**Goose Island Daji Xiang**
In May 2025, Goose Island launched a new branch in the revitalized hutong area of Daji Xiang. This spot combines their signature gastropub atmosphere with traditional hutong courtyard architecture. They offer 16 of their excellent brews on tap, along with a menu of burgers, pizza, and other pub fare.

**Peiping Machine Friendship Store Complex**
The Beijing brewery Peiping Machine opened its ninth branch in the Friendship Store Complex. Here, you can enjoy the brewery's typical great brews and tasty bites, including their well-known Beijing Roast Duck Jianbing (RMB 58).

**Q MEX Wukesong**
In early summer 2025, Q MEX opened a new branch in the Wukesong complex, marking its fifth location in Beijing and its first in Haidian. Located across from IKEA, this Wukesong branch features a spacious terrace and ample indoor seating, adorned with a vibrant mural by Spanish artist Miguel Ángel Emérico. There were also significant updates for Q MEX in 2025, including a complete menu overhaul across all branches, featuring new dishes and a fresh menu design, which you can read more about here.
