Service Interruptions at Subway Stations Tomorrow (August 9)

      On August 9, starting at 6pm, certain stations on a few subway lines will implement entrance and exit closures, as well as service interruptions, to ensure safety and efficient operation during a "special event." Transfer stations within the impacted sections of the affected subway lines will also restrict transfers temporarily. This notice is issued by the Beijing Traffic Management Bureau under the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau.

      Saturday (August 9) Subway Station and Exit Closures

      The following lines are impacted: 1/Batong, 2, 5, and 8. The information provided below pertains to full station closures unless stated otherwise.

      Line 1/Batong:

      - Communication University of China (传媒大学): 8:20pm - 9:10pm

      - Jianguomen (建国门):

       - Exits A and C: 6pm until the last train departs

       - Station: 9pm - 9:40pm

      - Dongdan (东单): 6pm until the last train departs

      - Wangfujing (王府井): 6pm until the last train departs

      - Tian'anmen East (天安门东): 6pm until the event concludes

      - Tian'anmen West (天安门西): 6pm until the event concludes

      Line 2:

      - Jianguomen (建国门):

       - Exits A and C: 6pm until the last train departs

       - Station: 9pm - 9:40pm

      - Beijing Railway Station (北京站):

       - Exits A and B: 7pm until the last train departs

      - Chongwenmen (崇文门): 7pm until the last train departs

      - Qianmen (前门):

       - Exit A: 6pm until the event concludes

       - Station: 6pm until the last train departs

      - Hepingmen (和平门): 7pm until the last train departs

      - Xuanwumen (宣武门):

       - Exits B and C: 9pm until the last train departs

       - Station: 9pm until the last train departs

      Line 5:

      - Dongdan (东单): 6pm until the last train departs

      - Chongwenmen (崇文门): 7pm until the last train departs

      Line 8:

      - Jinyu Hutong (金鱼胡同): 7pm until the last train departs

      - Wangfujing (王府井): 6pm until the last train departs

      - Qianmen (前门):

       - Exit A: 6pm until the event concludes

       - Station: 6pm until the last train departs
