      Learn – Bombard the Headquarters, an Author Book Talk

      Join RASBJ for an online discussion featuring authors Linda Jaivin and Paul French, who will explore Jaivin’s latest book, Bombard the Headquarters. This forthcoming release examines the period in China from 1966 to 1976, a decade marked by significant upheaval that transformed the nation's future.

      The Bombard the Headquarters book talk will take place online on Wednesday, May 28, from 7pm to 8pm. It is free for RASBJ members; RMB 50 for members of RAS branches located in London, Shanghai, and Hong Kong; and RMB 100 for non-members.       Play – Darts Tournament at Spuds

      If you enjoy darts, head to Spuds Irish Bar from Saturday to Sunday for their inaugural darts tournament, the Spuds Cup! Teams of four will compete in a knockout format, with cash prizes, trophies, medals, and bragging rights for the champions.

      The Spuds Cup will be held from Saturday, May 31, to Sunday, June 1, at Spuds Irish Bar. The entry fee is RMB 400 per team of four, which includes pizza and one drink for each team member. Scan the QR code in the poster to register.

      The largest burger event in Beijing returns! Juicy Burger Fest 2025 – Gods of the Grill is set to spice up your holiday weekend from May 31 to June 2.
