Bun-Believable Bites: Vendors from the Juicy Burger Festival Pt.1

      The Juicy Burger Fest is scheduled for May 31 to June 2 at XidianJiYi Funstown. With the announcement of the 2025 Juicy Burger Cup just yesterday, we thought it would be a great moment to showcase the delectable offerings available this year. From smoky American classics to adventurous fusion burgers, meat-free delights, and numerous festival exclusives, the vendors at this year's festival are ready to turn up the heat and deliver their best.

      **Circle Urban 圆场**

      Brunch and burger experts Circle Urban, who reached the Juicy Burger Cup Top 16 last year for the first time, have crafted an exclusive burger for the festival: the Ao Bao • Crispy Soul-Blazing Burger. It features an Angus beef patty accompanied by caramelized onions, cheddar cheese, and a secret sauce, all encased in an ultra-crispy bun. They'll also offer their Fusion Buffalo Chicken Burger and their popular Angus Beef Burger With Black Pineapple Bun, which includes grilled pineapple, cheddar, and jalapeños on a smashed Angus patty, all within a black Guangzhou-style pineapple bun.

      **Wake & Bite**

      The fine bistro Wake & Bite from Wangjing will bring a variety of burgers to the fest, including the exclusive Demon Child's Descent. This burger features a 21-day dry-aged Australian Sher Wagyu beef patty with Chef Gordon Ramsay's spicy British scrambled eggs, all in a hybrid German pretzel and Japanese milk bread bun. They will also introduce The Forbidden Rhapsody, a Ningxia Tan lamb burger in a black sesame bun; the Sichuan Spice Alchemist, a 96-hour dry-aged chicken thigh burger in ciabatta dough with crushed Sichuan Dahongpao peppercorns; and The Pretzel Pioneer, consisting of thick-cut smoked bacon and fried eggs inside a house-made pretzel bun. A selection of fruit craft beers, Scottish whisky highballs, and Austrian natural wines will complement the burgers.

      **Exclusive burger(s):** Demon Child's Descent: The 21-day Dry-aged Sher Wagyu Scrambled Eggs Cheese Burger with a choice of house-made Pretzel and Brioche buns.

      **OVERTONE 弦外之音**

      Last year's Best New Burger winners, OVERTONE, will present three burgers at the Juicy Burger fest, including the exclusive Argyle Sichuan Pepper Egg Sauce Beef Burger. This festive offering combines a Wagyu beef patty with their signature egg-based green Sichuan peppercorn sauce, providing a bold and spicy experience. They will also have the Overtone Classic Beef Burger and St. Vincent Dill Beef Burger, along with plenty of craft brews, like the Beijing-inspired Central Axis Hazy West Coast IPA.

      **Side Street 街旁**

      Last year's Juicy Burger Cup Champion, Side Street, will unveil two brand new, never-before-seen burgers exclusively for the fest. They are keeping their details under wraps for now, but expect something big, juicy, and memorable. They’ll also offer popular beef burgers like The K.O., The El Cholo 2.0, the Very Gouda, and The Squatter. Additionally, a veggie option, Country Roads, features a spiced paneer patty topped with crisp red onion, tomato, lettuce, house special sauce, and creamy garlic mayo. Craft ciders, beer, and soft drinks will also be available.

      **Exclusive burger(s):** Two mystery burgers to be revealed at the fest.

      **Hunger Dog 饿狗**

      Hunger Dog will present four burgers, including the exclusive Bloop Burger, made with a variety of seafood, complemented by wasabi sauce, and served on soft burger buns. Other offerings include the Banana Man Burger, the Bull Dog Burger, and the Hunger Dog Burger, featuring two beef patties topped with melted cheese, a fried egg, and a thick slice of pineapple.

      **Slowboat 悠航**

      Six-time Juicy Burger Cup Champion, Slowboat, has crafted the exclusive Truffle Trouble Double Smash Lace Burger for the festival. This burger includes a double-smashed imported beef patty with two slices of American cheese, black truffle aioli, and crisp house-made pickles, all on a freshly baked brioche bun. They’ll also feature The Classic, The Fryburger, Lao Thai Thai, and The Okie Double Smash Burger.
