Although November is still a bit distant, the 2025 Chi Fan for Charity (CFFC) Beijing Committee is already hard at work preparing for the 17th anniversary of this annual culinary event that generates hundreds of thousands for charitable causes.
This year’s CFFC will be held on Saturday, November 8, so be sure to mark your calendars! As always, the CFFC Beijing Committee will select one (or more) organizations to receive funding from the 2025 CFFC Beijing proceeds, and they are looking for your assistance! The goal is to ensure the selection process is transparent and straightforward, so that donations yield real, impactful results.
Any charitable organization operating within China can apply for funding between RMB 100,000 and 150,000 for one of their projects. If you know of a suitable charity, please share this article and encourage them to fill out the registration form.
Charities should be able to show:
Sustainability: Does the organization possess a viable long-term vision for growth and success?
Expertise: Does the organization have a proven track record and expertise in its areas of focus?
Efficiency: Are the organization’s resources utilized to achieve maximum social impact?

The submission deadline is Tuesday, June 3, at 9 PM. All participating NGOs will be announced on June 4, followed by the start of public voting. Voting will conclude on June 10, after which the top five NGOs with the most votes will be invited to present their proposals to the event committee. The final results will be announced on June 15 via CFFC's official WeChat (WeChat ID: ChiFanForCharity).
Please note that the emphasis is on specific projects with clearly defined metrics for social impact. The selected charity will also be expected to attend CFFC Beijing 2025 and actively promote this year’s event.
