If you attended our Taco Fest this past weekend, you're likely already acquainted with EMA Salsa. Headed by Ema, a proficient ambassador of Latin American cultural exchange with over 21 years of experience in music and dance, EMA Salsa frequently organizes classes, flash mobs, and various exciting events in Beijing. Their focus is on an array of Latin American dances such as Cuban salsa, bachata, merengue, cha-cha-cha, reggaetón, samba, mambo, rumba, guaguancó, and more. AfroPulzDance International African Dance Camp
Next week, on May 13 and 14, AfroPulzDance will introduce the essence of African dance to Beijing! This two-day dance camp at IT Dance Studio provides a unique opportunity to learn from seven renowned African dance instructors, each possessing millions of social media followers and extensive knowledge in their styles. Regardless of your dance experience, the camp allows you to explore seven vibrant dance forms, savor authentic African cuisine, and connect with a global network of dance enthusiasts. Sazon Cuban Dance School
Another familiar name from our festivals is Sazon Cuban Dance School. Established in 2016, they provide a dynamic variety of classes including salsa, rumba, Cuban folk dance, cha-cha, son, bachata, and more. They also have several female-only classes if you prefer a female-focused environment. Classes are categorized by skill level, from 0 (no experience necessary) to 3, ensuring that whether you are a beginner or an advanced dancer, there’s a suitable class available for your progression. Class prices start at RMB 159 for a single session, or they can be purchased in packages as well as on a weekly or monthly basis. Swing Beijing
Established in 2003 by American dancer Adam Lee, Swing Beijing proudly carries the title of China’s first swing dance organization. Instead of functioning as a dance studio, Swing Beijing serves as a hub for swing dance enthusiasts, connecting dancers and organizers throughout the capital. With over 20 years of experience, Salsa 5 Club specializes in salsa, bachata, cha-cha-cha, and kizomba. Their dedicated team of five professional instructors conducts weekly group classes for all skill levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers, offering lively, engaging sessions that help you gain confidence and connect with others on the dance floor.
