**Beijing Cocktail Week**
Beijing Cocktail Week (BJCW) will arrive in the capital from May 22-28, offering a citywide celebration of cocktail culture with over 30 events and participation from more than 20 bars and restaurants. Instead of being a typical drinks festival, BJCW promises a week filled with guest shifts, pairing dinners, pop-ups, and late-night collaborations tailored for both cocktail enthusiasts and industry professionals.
The event will feature guest appearances from 25 internationally renowned bars at various locations across Beijing. At WF Central, there will be pop-ups hosted by bars from different parts of China. Additionally, four cocktail pairing dinners will be held: Lamdre X Bar Long Fong, Old Tower X Hope & Sesame, Marzaka X Aji, and Chef 1996 X Three X Co. Finally, there will be "I'm From China," a late-night series at TWM Bistro, where bartenders from around the country will create cocktails inspired by their hometowns, paired with regional late-night snacks.

**High Five Tap Takeover Vol. 11 with Tulipifera at Slowboat**
This Friday (May 15), Slowboat will host another edition of their High Five Tap Takeovers featuring guest brewery Tulipifera from Suzhou at the Shichahai location. Tulipifera will present five guest beers for the event: Melon Gelato Beer, Early Sakura Blush Gelato Beer, Spring Snow Peach Cider, Jade Loquat Sour Ale, and Citrus Fruit Punch Cider. The Tulipifera High Five Tap Takeover Vol. 11 will start at Slowboat Shichahai on Fri, May 15. Admission to the event is free.

**Empty Bottle Party and Bubble Night at O'Steak**
O'Steak has two upcoming boozy events this month. First, they will host another Empty Bottle Party this Friday (May 15) from 6pm to 10pm, where for RMB 158 per person, you can enjoy unlimited selected wine! They will offer 25 different varieties for you to savor until they're gone. Then, on Wednesday, May 27, from 7pm to 9pm, they will feature a Bubble Night with two hours of free-flowing sparkling wines for RMB 128 per person.

**Utopian Brewing Tap Takeover at The Factory**
The Factory will also host a Tap Takeover this weekend (May 15-16), welcoming Utopian Brewing, a UK brewery from Devon that specializes in lagers crafted from 100% British hops and malt. They will offer seven different brews: Regenerator, Rainbock, Bohemian, Classic IPA, Premium Lager, Unfiltered Lager, and Wondrous Isles. More specifics about the beers can be found here.
On Friday, they will provide discounts on their British food menu, and on Saturday from noon to 6pm, all imported special beers will enjoy a happy hour with 20-25% off. Utopian Brewing-themed merchandise will also be available.
