FLO Group introduces the Parisian-themed Café and Crêperie Ohlala
A few weeks ago, the FLO restaurant group launched Ohlala, a Parisian-themed café and crêperie located in the Wanli area near Universal Studios in Tongzhou. The menu features a selection of classic French dishes, including their signature Breton galettes, savory pancakes with fillings like Smoked Salmon (RMB 78) and Black Truffle Parma Ham (RMB 86), as well as sweet crêpes such as Strawberry (RMB 60) and Caramel Banana Chocolate (RMB 52). To mark the opening, several special promotions and discounts are currently available.

Fiume undergoes renovations and becomes Mercante
The Italian restaurant Fiume in Liangmaqiao has recently completed renovations and rebranded as Mercante. There’s no need for fans of Fiume to worry as the ownership remains unchanged; the name now makes it part of the Mercante family. You might recall that last year Mercante made its return to Beijing with two new locations.
At this new Mercante branch, guests can enjoy a wide selection of authentic Italian dishes, including the popular Lasagna (RMB 95). A new feature is a brick pizza oven where they serve Neapolitan-style pizzas, with options ranging from the classic Margherita (RMB 69) to richer choices like Truffle and Sausage (RMB 95).

COMMUNE unveils a new spring menu
COMMUNE recently introduced its spring menu, featuring an array of fresh and vibrant new dishes. As fans of burgers and pizzas, we are particularly enthusiastic about their new Wagyu Beef Burger with Cheese Butter Sauce, which includes two M-grade wagyu patties topped with melted cheese and crispy onions, as well as the Beijing Chicken Pizza with Chinese Toon Basil Pesto, offering a delightful fusion of flavors.
Other new offerings comprise Pan-Fried Salmon with Lily Bulb Salad, Purple Kale and Quinoa Salad, Bruschetta, and more. They've also updated their drink menu with additions like a White Chocolate Martini, Montenegro Negroni, and several BrewDog craft beers on tap.

Twist, a new eatery in Xicheng
Located in Xicheng, Twist is a new eatery specializing in freshly baked items. During our visit, we particularly enjoyed the Emmental with Sauerkraut Sourdough, Chocolate Babka, and Erbajiang Babka. They offer a variety of other dishes, including pasta, tapas-style selections, specialty coffees, and drinks.

Las Musas debuts new spring drinks
Las Musas has recently launched its spring drink menu, introducing four new seasonal margaritas. The Sunset Flow Fizz combines orange tequila, Aperol, fresh orange and carrot juice, lime, simple syrup, and egg white. The Green Margarita features fresh cucumber, kale, orange juice, lime, and simple syrup.
Also included is the Blackberry & Coconut Margarita, which blends tequila, Cointreau, blackberry puree, coconut cream, lime, and simple syrup. Finally, the Changsha Margarita offers an innovative fusion cocktail combining tequila, peach, ginger, lime, and perilla ginger syrup. In addition to the new margaritas, popular Mexican soda brand Jarritos has been added to the menu, offering guava, mandarin, tamarind, and lime flavors.
