This week, we have a new Italian restaurant called D'Addario opening in Houhai and a burger pop-up at Beersmith. Additionally, Turkish Feast and Q MEX have introduced new offerings, among other items on our To Try List.
**Italian Restaurant D'Addario Opens in Houhai**
Located discreetly behind Houhai, D'Addario, an Italian restaurant, opened its doors in August, though it has just come to our attention. The venue features a cozy and inviting ambiance with a pale yellow and blue color palette, and minimal decor to keep the focus on the cuisine. It boasts a spacious main dining area, several private rooms for intimate gatherings, and a small deli section near the entrance.
The menu features a variety of delectable Italian dishes, including pasta, homemade pizza, appetizers, and main courses. Some standout items include the rich and cheesy Lasagne (RMB 75) and the Prosciutto di Parma Black Truffle and Mushroom Pizza (RMB 108), which offers a perfectly balanced truffle sauce. Other dishes to look out for are the Rigatoni with Smoked Salmon and Cream Sauce (RMB 78), the Tomato and Fig Burrata Salad (RMB 90), the Seafood Risotto (RMB 88), and, of course, their renowned Tiramisu (RMB 55).

**Carbo Opens New Bread Bar in Liangma Courtyard**
Earlier this year, Carbo launched its first branch at the new Friendship Store complex and has now opened a new location in Liangma Courtyard. While the original spot focuses on pasta, this new venue specializes in bread and baked goods, though a few pasta options are still available. In addition to a wide selection of fresh baked items like croissants and focaccia, they also offer enticing brunch selections, along with tea, coffee, wine, and other beverages.

**Fú Burger Pop-Up at Beersmith**
The popular Tianjin burger spot, Fú Burger, will be hosting a special pop-up at Beersmith this weekend (Nov 14-16). They will feature two of their signature burgers: the Wild Mushroom Beef Burger and the Spice Honey Glazed Fried Chicken Burger. Beersmith has paired each burger with a specific brew: the 2025 Double Chocolate Imperial Pastry Stout for the beef burger and the Organic Malt IPA for the chicken burger. If you want to taste these burgers without trekking to Tianjin, this weekend is your opportunity!

**New Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch Sets at Turkish Feast**
Last week, Turkish Feast launched new breakfast, brunch, and lunch sets at their JinShang Yuan and Huamao branches. Their breakfast includes a Turkish Classic Set for One (RMB 108) and a Turkish Classic Set for Two (RMB 198). Brunch options feature a Poached Egg with Homemade Bread Set (RMB 78) and a Smoked Salmon with Homemade Bread Set (RMB 88). Additionally, they offer Turkish Lunch Sets (RMB 78-RMB 188), which include a choice of main from six options, a side dish, and a drink. These sets are available Mon-Fri, from 11 am to 2 pm.
