The most common drains responsible for unpleasant odors in bathrooms are the shower drain, washing machine drain, and bathroom sink. You can find a drain cover for each of these, with some appealing designs available.

If your apartment is cluttered with tangled chargers and power strips, or if you have a power strip hanging from the wall, this solution is for you. These self-adhesive brackets attach directly to the wall, while the other side secures the power strip in place. The power strip holders are excellent for decluttering your home and for positioning a power strip in awkward locations where it may be inconvenient or lack support.

In Beijing, storage space can be a significant challenge, especially since many of us live in places without ample storage, such as a large cupboard or garage to stash away seasonal clothes. Vacuum storage bags can help solve this issue by significantly reducing the size of items you’re storing, particularly bulky winter items like coats and comforters. There’s a wide range of inexpensive options on Taobao, and many come with a free mini hand pump or electric pump for air removal if you don’t have a vacuum cleaner.

Continuing with the storage dilemma, a traditional coat rack occupies valuable space, especially during the winter months when it’s full of heavy jackets. When you purchase a strong, quality option, they can also be sturdier than standard coat racks.

As an avid Taobao shopper, I receive numerous parcels regularly, making this item essential. Investing in a retractable box cutter means you won’t risk injury while attempting to open heavily taped packages with scissors. The top models feature a safety lock and replaceable blades. Just remember to always cut away from your body for safety!

**Gas Hob Heat Diffuser**
Unlike hobs in places like the UK or US with multiple sizes, Chinese hobs tend to be uniform in size, which can be problematic when using smaller pans or simmering for long periods, as even the lowest setting can be too hot. A gas hob heat diffuser evenly distributes heat across the cookware, preventing hot spots from developing in the center of the pan. They're perfect for gentle cooking and also help protect the bottoms of your pots. Be aware that they take time to heat up and remain hot for a while after the burner is turned off.

While many options are relatively inexpensive, be aware that lower-priced models may have drawbacks, so investing a bit more can be beneficial in the long run. Many advanced models can connect to an app, allowing you to set a timer for when you're out.
