Victory Day 2025: Revised Park Hours, Museum Updates, and Other Closures

      Following our recent update regarding traffic, subway, and location closures this week as China honors the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, we have revised our list of temporary venue and site closures. Below, you will find the latest information on various parks, museums, temples, and other locations in the city that will be temporarily closed this week.

      Please note that the situation is subject to change, and additional sites may issue temporary closure announcements. The list below is not comprehensive. During this time, it is advisable to confirm the opening status of specific parks, museums, buildings, and other attractions in the city before venturing out.

      **Parks and Scenic Areas**

      **Tiantan Park (天坛公园)**

      There will be partial closures at the park:

      - The parking lot at the East Gate will be closed all day on September 2.

      - The area from the East Gate to East Gate 2 will close at noon on September 2.

      These areas are expected to reopen when possible on September 3. During the closure, visitors should enter and exit through the North, South, and West gates.

      The opening of the Hall for Prayer of Good Harvests (祈年殿), the Echo Wall (回音壁), and the Circular Mound Altar (圆丘) on September 3 will be delayed until noon. Those holding tickets for these sites should wait until after opening to visit or can receive a refund through the original ticket-purchasing channel.

      **Beihai Park (北海公园)**

      On September 2, entrance ticket sales will end at 4 PM, and the park will close at 6 PM. On September 3, at 3 PM, the East and North gates, along with the east gate of Jingxinzhai Garden, will reopen as usual. The South and West gates of Beihai Park, along with the Tuancheng scenic area, will reopen in a timely manner based on surrounding conditions.

      **Jingshan Park (景山公园)**

      On September 2, ticket sales will cease at 4 PM, and the park will close at 6 PM. On September 3, at 3 PM, the East and West gates will reopen, with the South Gate reopening depending on surrounding conditions.

      **Taoranting Park (陶然亭公园)**

      The park will be closed in the morning on September 3 and will reopen at noon.

      **Beijing Yuyuantan Park (玉渊潭公园)**

      Similarly, the park will be closed in the morning on September 3 and will reopen at noon.

      **Zhongshan Park (中山公园)**

      The park will be closed from August 31 to September 3, reopening at an appropriate time on September 4.

      **Chaoyang Park (朝阳公园)**

      The park will be closed from 10 PM on September 2 until noon on September 3.

      **Longtan Zhonghu Park (龙潭中湖公园)**

      This park will be closed on September 3 from 6 AM until noon.

      **Longtan Xihu Park (龙潭西湖公园)**

      This park will also be closed on September 3 from 6 AM until noon.

      **Beijing Chaoyang Honglingjin Park (北京市朝阳区红领中公园)**

      The park will be closed from 10 PM on September 2 until noon on September 3.

      **Lotus Park (莲花池公园)**

      This park will follow similar hours, closing from 10 PM on September 2 until noon on September 3.

      **Beijing Ming City Wall Ruins Park (北京明城墙遗址公园)**

      The park will be closed on September 3 from 5 AM until noon.

      **Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Scenic Area and Xihaizi Park (大运河文化旅游景区 + 通州区西海子公园)**

      The Central District of the Grand Canal Cultural Tourism Scenic Area (Canal Cultural Square) and Xihaizi Park in Tongzhou will be closed from midnight to noon on September 3.

      **Museums, Temples, Memorials, Markets, and Hospitals**

      **Beijing Hospital (北京医院)**

      Outpatient services will be suspended on September 3, but emergency and fever clinic services will remain available 24 hours.

      **Yonghegong Lama Temple (雍和宫)**

      The temple will be closed on September 3 and will reopen on September 4.

      **Beijing Guanghua Temple (广化寺)**
