**New Line 28 Planned for Beijing Subway**
Beijing Infrastructure Investment Co., Ltd. has unveiled plans to construct Line 28 of the Beijing Subway, part of numerous projects approved by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) aimed at enhancing the city's rail transit system.
The new line will commence at Dongdaqiao station and extend southeast, primarily along Chaoyangmenwai Dajie, Chaoyang Lu, Zhenzhi Lu, Jianguo Lu, Maoxing Xilu, and Guangqu Lu. It will be approximately 8.7 kilometers long and will be entirely underground.
There will be nine planned stations, out of which six will serve as transfer stations.

东大桥站 Dongdaqiao (transfer)
京广桥站 Jingguangqiao (transfer)
光华路站 Guanghua Lu (transfer)
景辉街站 Jinghui Jie
大望路站 Dawanglu (transfer)
茂兴西路站 Maoxing Xilu (transfer)
大郊亭站 Dajiaoting (transfer)
广渠路站 Guangqu Lu
广渠东路站 Guangqu Donglu
**Beijing Featured on Fortune Global 500 List**
Fortune has recently released the 2025 edition of its Global 500 list, ranking the largest companies worldwide by revenue. Beijing made a notable impact, hosting the headquarters of 47 companies—the highest of any city on the list.
China is home to over 120 companies in total, with three in the Top 10, all of which are based in Beijing: State Grid, China National Petroleum, and Sinopec Group.
Among Beijing’s 47 listed companies, 41 are state-owned, while the other six are private. These companies span various industries.
**Central Axis Exhibition Marks 1 Year of UNESCO World Heritage Status**
The Guanzhong Central Axis Cultural Museum ("The Guàn") is currently holding an exhibition to commemorate the first anniversary of the Central Axis being added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. The exhibition features photographs, videos, and other physical items that document daily life along the Central Axis. Many of these exhibits are original materials used in the application for World Heritage status.
