      **Eat – Seasonal Burger Vol. 3 at Slowboat**

      Slowboat's Seasonal Burger Series is back with Vol. 3: The Tianjin Jianbing Burger – a daring take on North China's popular street food. Having won the hearts of burger enthusiasts in Tianjin and Shanghai, this special edition is now available at all Slowboat locations in Beijing throughout the month of August.

      This burger features an all-beef patty on a rich brioche bun, topped with Slowboat's special Ayi-oli, crispy house-made guozi, jianbing sauce, a fried egg, and fresh scallions – a Tianjin classic with a Slowboat twist.

      **Learn – Daughters of the Bamboo Grove: From China to America, an Author Book Talk**

      On Wednesday (Aug 6), join RASBJ for an online discussion with award-winning author Barbara Demick as she presents her latest work, Daughters of the Bamboo Grove: From China to America, a True Story of Abduction, Adoption, and Separated Twins. This impactful book chronicles the remarkable true story of Fangfang and Shuangjie, twin sisters separated due to China's one-child policy and moved to different worlds. Demick delves into the effects of forced adoptions, the growth of international adoption, and the unique tragedy of separated twins.

      The online author talk will occur on Wed, Aug 6, from 8pm to 9pm. It's free for RASBJ members; RMB 50 for members of RAS branches in London, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Seoul; and RMB 100 for non-members. Register by scanning the QR code in the poster above.

      **Party – SNST Pres. Full Moon Pool Party**

      This Saturday (Aug 9), SNST returns with one of their legendary pool parties, channeling the iconic vibes of the Thailand Full Moon Party – featuring neon lights, glowing body paint, and endless energy under the moonlit sky.

      Hosted at IBIZA the Oasis, expect Afro/Latin house, hip-hop, and pop music from DJs Mike, George, CjakJ, and Sieya, with MCs Mxcho and MC Lier keeping the party alive. There will also be pool races, beer pong, a UV body paint contest, and more.

      The Full Moon Pool Party will take place on Sat, Aug 9, from 5pm until late at IBIZA the Oasis. Early bird tickets are priced at RMB 128, presale tickets at RMB 158, and tickets at the door at RMB 188. All tickets include one complimentary drink.
