Explore – Three Exhibitions at UCCA
UCCA is showcasing several engaging exhibitions until the fall that are worth a visit during the week or the weekend. Current exhibitions include “Your Palm is My Universe,” a solo show featuring a spatial video installation of the same name by Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist; “Bauhaus Unknown,” which documents the overlooked histories of the women of Bauhaus through paintings, works on paper, and a mural by artist Chen Ke that interprets their experiences; and “Seeing All Forms,” a retrospective showcasing the works of sculptor Liao Fei.
Chen Ke: Bauhaus Unknown and Liao Fei: Seeing All Forms will be on display until September 7, while Pipilotti Rist: Your Palm is My Universe runs until October 19. General admission tickets are priced at RMB 118 per person and RMB 198 for two people. Tickets can be purchased through the UCCA WeChat mini program (UCCA尤伦斯当代艺术中心) or at the venue.

Listen – Djembe and Guzheng Concert at Blue Note
Experience the harmonious blend of the djembe and guzheng in a unique concert at Blue Note, featuring the djembe talents of Liron Man and the guzheng artistry of Lucy Luan, presenting jazz, world music, and innovative interpretations of rock.
Floating Melodies: Liron Man & Lucy Luan Duo will take place on Wednesday, July 30, starting at 8 pm at Blue Note Beijing. Tickets are available for RMB 160+ and can be reserved via the Blue Note WeChat account. More details about the show can be found here.

Discover – FilmNeverDie Photo Studio
FilmNeverDie is a photography space and store that originated in Melbourne, Australia, operated by a collective of photographers dedicated to the preservation and promotion of film and other analog photography methods. Their Dongsi location and film developing studio represents their latest venture in China. Within this office-like environment, you’ll find a variety of film rolls, toy and disposable cameras, merchandise, and distinguished by an in-house darkroom capable of developing film in approximately 30 minutes.
FilmNeverDie also organizes regular weekend photo walks and photography workshops, details of which can be accessed on their official WeChat account (ID: FilmNeverDie).
