Circle Urban has recently announced the closure of their flagship store in Sanyuanqiao and its upcoming relocation to ONSITEEE on Xinghuo Xilu, effective July 30. In their statement, they expressed gratitude to customers for their support over the years and assured that they would continue to create wonderful memories at the new location.
Circle Urban is part of the Circle brand, established by Yan Long in 2013 when he opened a café at Renmin University. The brand expanded beyond the university in 2022 with the launch of the Sanyuanqiao branch in July. After visiting shortly after its opening, we were captivated by the vintage decor and Long's exciting plans for the venue.
Since its inception, Circle Urban has gained significant recognition in the capital, particularly for their delicious burgers, which secured them the #11 position in this year's Juicy Burger Cup. In 2023, they launched a dedicated burger spot named Circle Burger and introduced another Circle Urban branch in Haidian last year.
The move to ONSITEEE's Xinghuo Xilu branch builds on an existing partnership, as a smaller version of Circle Urban's food menu has been available at that venue for several months. Once Circle Urban officially relocates, they plan to broaden the menu to feature more dishes from the Sanyuanqiao branch, along with some new offerings.
In conversations regarding the relocation, owner Long mentioned that the ONSITEEE location will enable them to provide a wider selection of barbecue options and offer potential for further expansion plans, details of which will be shared as they become available.
ONSITEEE is a camping-themed bar and cafe with several locations in Beijing. Their Xinghuo Xilu branch features a spacious outdoor gravel seating area with a bar and projector, two distinct indoor spaces, and an additional outdoor grassy area in the back. The venue is completely pet-friendly, allowing guests to bring their furry friends while enjoying drinks and food.
