New Market Set to Open at Former Carrefour Sanyuanqiao Site
Following the closure of Carrefour’s Sanyuanqiao location at the China International Exhibition Center after more than 20 years, a new brand will provide shopping options for local residents starting in July. Market 7, which emphasizes a “fresh market and leisure” atmosphere, is set to launch next month in the former Carrefour space. The venue has been modernized and renovated, featuring a fresh market on the first floor offering high-quality ingredients, and a diverse specialty food and leisure area on the second floor.
Positioning itself as “the people’s vegetable basket,” the market focuses on the community, with plans to blend the old with the new, and the trendy with traditional. Additionally, there are plans for exhibition spaces and family-friendly activities.
