**New Ibiza Pool Club Launching Soon**
As the temperatures in Beijing begin to climb, the announcement of a new pool club is perfectly timed! Named Ibiza Party Club and situated just east of the venue for the 2025 Juicy Burger Fest, XidianJiYi Funstown, this pool bar embodies Ibiza’s spirit with its sandy beach area, large outdoor pool, beach bar, and DJ booth. Though a few soft opening events have been held, regular hours have not started yet. Their Dianping listing indicates an official opening will be soon, and we’ll provide more details once they are fully operational.

**WAWABEER Launches Dine-In Restaurant**
If you recall the inventive and delicious burgers from WAWABEER during previous Juicy Burger Festivals, you'll be pleased to hear that they've opened a dine-in restaurant, a significant upgrade from their previous takeout service. Located in Tuanjie Xinli, within the same complex as Golden Dog, they offer ten different burgers alongside new items like tacos, a sausage platter, and various snacks, as well as eight of their signature beers and four types of kombucha on tap.

**Beiping Machine Expands with New Branch in Friendship Store Complex**
Beijing brewery Beiping Machine has opened its latest branch in the Friendship Store Complex, which is also home to Duli, the vegan bistro from Shanghai that recently opened its first Beijing location near Side Street Jianguomen. This marks their ninth branch in the capital, featuring an impressive selection of brews and tasty bites, including their renowned Beijing Roast Duck Jianbing (RMB 58).

**Beijing Whisky Festival Returns This Weekend**
From May 16 to 18, Whisky+ Beijing 2025 will return to the city, hosted at Langyuan Station. The event will feature numerous whiskies, along with over 30 whisky masterclasses across the three days, most of which are free! In addition to whisky, attendees can also enjoy spirits like rum, gin, and tequila, as well as beer and wine, plus a variety of food options. Entertainment will include live bands, DJ performances, and interactive dancing.
Whisky+ Beijing 2025 will be open on May 16 from 5pm to 10pm, May 17 from 2pm to 10pm, and May 18 from 2pm to 7pm. A standard single-day ticket costs RMB 59 and can be purchased by scanning the QR code in the poster. More information about the festival is available here.

**Yardley Brothers High Five Tap Takeover at Slowboat Shichahai**
On Friday (May 16), Slowboat will host its sixth High Five Tap Takeover at their Shichahai location. Hong Kong craft brewery Yardley Brothers will present five of their unique brews: This is Not Pho Sour, Thai Chilli Getaway Herb & Spice Sour, Befuddlement Hazy IPA, Tanghulu Candy Sour, and Machine Men DDH Pale Ale. The tap takeover starts at 4pm and the Yardley Brothers beers will be available until they run out.
