If you're looking to kick off the May holiday with a festive vibe, make your way to Modernista on Wednesday (Apr 30) to catch Easy Street performing live. This pop-rock group consists of vocalist Steven McKinney (Stevie Mac), keyboardist and vocalist Taylor Hartwell, drummer and vocalist Taylor Kelly, bass guitarist Timothy Chen, and lead guitarist Barry Allen. They’ll be playing a variety of popular hits and catchy songs that are sure to get you moving. After their set, DJ Vincent Von Rock will take over to keep the energy high with some great beats. **Explore – History of the Hutong Walking Tour, May 1**
Beijing Postcards is hosting one of their History of the Hutong Walking Tours on Thursday (May 1) from 10 AM to 12:30 PM. On this guided tour, you’ll explore the 2,000-year legacy of these famous alleyways at ground level. The tour costs RMB 300 for adults and RMB 150 for children, and you can book your spot by scanning the QR code below. If you can’t attend on Thursday, they have three additional dates available in May.

**Eat – the Beijinger's Taco Fest, May 3-4**
We couldn’t discuss the upcoming week without mentioning our much-anticipated Taco Fest! Scheduled for May 3-4 at the National Tennis Center located near the west side of the Olympic Forest Park, this is one taco extravaganza you won’t want to miss! This year, we have over 25 vendors, featuring a special guest from Shanghai, La Coyota, along with fantastic entertainment and market stalls for added fun. So gather your friends and prepare to indulge in as many tacos as possible!
Taco Fest will run at the National Tennis Center West Square on May 3-4 from 11 AM to 8 PM. Early bird tickets are priced at RMB 20, while tickets bought at the venue will be RMB 30. You can acquire tickets by scanning the QR code on the poster above.
