**Explore – Beijing Breakfast Stroll with The Hutong, Mar 25**
On Tuesday morning (Mar 25), The Hutong will be hosting one of their renowned Beijing Breakfast Strolls through the hutongs. This breakfast tour offers a chance to explore the rich flavors and cultural traditions of Beijing’s morning cuisine. Guided by expert locals, participants will journey through the charming hutongs, tasting iconic dishes like jianbing and doufunao while discovering the stories and traditions of everyday life. **Listen – Sarah Vaughan Tribute at Blue Note, Mar 27**
In celebration of the 101st anniversary of Sarah Vaughan's birth (Mar 27, 1924), Blue Note will host a special tribute to this jazz icon on Thursday (Mar 27). Featuring Rena on vocals, E.T (Xu Guangjun) on bass, Pierre Pradat on piano, and Scott Silverman on drums, the group will perform some of Vaughan's most memorable melodies that highlighted her illustrious career. **Bonus: Eat – the Beijinger's Sausage Fest, Mar 28-30**
We couldn’t discuss the week ahead without mentioning our upcoming Sausage Fest! Scheduled for March 28 to 30 at the FFC, this event promises to be filled with delicious sausages you won’t want to miss! Over 50 vendors will be participating, and you can find more details about them in previous posts here and here. Alongside tasty sausages, there will be a variety of entertainment including fun sausage-themed games, live music, and a designated kids’ area for little ones. The Sausage Fest will be held at FFC South Square on March 28 from 4 PM to 9 PM, and on March 29-30 from 11 AM to 9 PM. Early bird tickets are priced at RMB 20, VIP tickets at RMB 100, and tickets at the door at RMB 30. Tickets can be obtained by scanning the QR code in the poster above.
