One of the most cherished charities in Beijing is hosting a fantastic event that will allow you to enjoy day drinking guilt-free! Furry Tales Animal Rescue, a nonprofit founded by expats Elizabeth "Ellie" Rodewald and Sorcha Moore-Smith in December 2021, aims to rescue abandoned animals in Beijing and ultimately find them loving forever homes. They organize adoption days, support short-term foster parents, and cater to the medical needs of new rescues. While not everyone who wishes to help can adopt or foster, this Saturday, Furry Tales is organizing a fundraiser to assist with the medical and boarding costs for new rescues. To contribute and help the puppies, all you need to do is enjoy a drink. Actually, you'll need to enjoy seven!
Pinotage in Shunyi will host a wine tasting paired with food on Saturday, March 8, at 2 PM, with all proceeds benefiting Furry Tales. It’s a wonderful opportunity to spend an afternoon meeting new and intriguing people while supporting our community, but be quick, as their previous event sold out.
