Slider Nation WAB Location Officially Opens Tomorrow
After much excitement from Beijing’s burger enthusiasts, Slider Nation's latest branch near the Western Academy of Beijing (WAB) is hosting its grand opening party tomorrow (Feb 22). In addition to their classic sliders, guests can sample new options like Fried Chicken Sliders and Sausage Egg n’ Cheese Sliders. For drinks, they will offer a variety of discounted cocktails, Carlsberg beer, and kids' slushies. Besides food and drinks, live music will be performed by Greg Lutrel and DJ Half n Half, along with games of corn hole, giveaways, and more! The festivities will commence at 4pm and continue late into the evening.

Le Coq Group Opens First Beijing Branch
Around a month ago, the Le Coq group launched its first Le Coq Wine & Bistro in Beijing's Taikooli. Originally a wine import company based in Shanghai, Le Coq ventured into the restaurant scene several years ago and now boasts multiple locations in Shanghai, one in Xi'an, and recently, a branch in Beijing.
Le Coq Wine & Bistro specializes in French fusion cuisine, blending traditional French culinary techniques with modern tastes, including Asian sauces. Their stylish Taikooli location features a broad menu rich in seafood dishes, small plates, main courses, steaks, and desserts. Notably, their Seafood Towers (standard/RMB 598; luxury/RMB 1,988) showcase items such as oysters, French sea snails, smoked salmon, and mackerel with chili. New Peking Duck Pizza, Burgers and More on COMMUNE's Spring Menu
This week, COMMUNE unveiled its new spring menu, introducing the COMMUNE Peking Duck Pizza (RMB 119). This pizza, created in collaboration with Peking duck expert Dadong, features a hoisin sauce base topped with crispy roast duck, diced cucumber, and spring onions. The spring menu also adds two new burgers – the Smoked Brisket Burger (RMB 158) and the Pulled Pork Burger (RMB 88) – alongside Smoked Brisket (RMB 328), Pesto Chicken Pasta (RMB 78), and more.

Experience Wine Paired With Music at MO Bar
Music and wine enthusiasts will enjoy an event at MO Bar this Sunday evening (Feb 23). Titled In Vino Musica The Magnificent Apéritif-Concert, this immersive experience pairs five selected wines with music and canapés. Attendees will experience performances by the Duke Quartet alongside wine pairings chosen by the hotel’s sommelier to complement the musical style and rhythm.
