      Somewhat unusual, but in Lishui, there exists a "National Defence Park" that offers a view of the route taken by Japanese forces. Chinese soldiers would keep watch day and night, aiming to eliminate them and stop their advance toward Nanjing. We spent two weeks in Changde. It rained nearly every day, which limited our exploration more than we had hoped.
