      **Film Screening – Chicken with Plums at The Factory**

      Tomorrow (April 14), Black Hole, located on the second floor of The Factory, will host its regular film screening. The featured movie is Chicken with Plums, a visually stunning drama about a renowned violinist who, after his cherished instrument is ruined, loses his will to live and spends his last days contemplating love, regret, and the life he could have led. The film will be shown with English and Chinese subtitles.

      For those who are hungry, The Factory offers the '鱼'esday Tuesday special, where you can enjoy Fish and Chips along with a beer for RMB 99, plus their regular food options and happy hour from 4pm to 8pm.

      The screening of Chicken with Plums will occur at Black Hole on Tuesday, April 14, at 8pm. Admission is free, but there is a minimum spend of RMB 49 per person, and advance registration is suggested due to limited seating for about 40 guests.       **Live Music – Kerala Dust at FullOn Livehouse**

      On Thursday (April 16), the London electronic-psychedelic band Kerala Dust will stop at FullOn Livehouse as part of their China tour, promising a night of genre-blending live music. Renowned for combining house beats with elements of psychedelic rock, blues, and funk, Kerala Dust delivers immersive live performances that enhance their studio sound through extended improvisation and atmospheric grooves. They will perform songs from their albums including *Violet Drive* and newer tracks, mixing danceable rhythms with dreamy late-night vibes.

      On Friday (April 17), The Local will host a special Ningxia Cultural Fusion Night celebrating the flavors and traditions of Ningxia. The evening will feature Ningxia-inspired cuisine, live music that fuses traditional instruments with contemporary sounds, and a brief introduction to the region’s culture, including aspects of its intangible cultural heritage. Guests will also enjoy a welcome drink, buffet dinner, specialty beverages, and a small raffle.

      The Ningxia Cultural Fusion Night will take place at The Local on Friday, April 17, starting at 7pm. Tickets are priced at RMB 99 and can be purchased by scanning the QR code in the poster above.
