Beijing's Rooftops and Terraces: The Central Business District

Today, we are continuing our exploration of rooftops and terraces in Beijing. After showcasing locations around Sanlitun, the hutongs, and the Liangma River, we now focus on the CBD.

      **Xun Terrace**

The newest addition to our list, Xun Terrace, opened earlier this year. Situated on the 25th floor of an office building near the Kerry Centre, it offers stunning views of some of the city's iconic skyscrapers. The terrace has a spacious layout with a stylish blue color scheme complemented by an abundance of flowers, creating a touch of nature in the area. In terms of food, they serve various Western dishes, including pasta, pizza, and hearty mains. For beverages, there's a selection of beers on tap and in bottles, wine, cocktails, coffee, and soft drinks.

Located in the bustling Guomao area, Migas Mercado boasts exceptional views, with its terrace overlooking the CCTV Tower (affectionately known as Big Pants) and Beijing's tallest structure, the China Zun. The vibrant fluorescent orange and pink chairs create a lively atmosphere, especially at night against the backdrop of whimsical red lanterns. Known for its top-notch Spanish cuisine, they offer attractive weekday lunch deals, and their weekend tapas brunch is a must-try. Additionally, they have a comprehensive drinks menu and hold regular DJ nights on weekends.

The decor is minimalistic, with a few plants adding a nice touch of greenery. Blue Frog offers its usual selection of Western dishes, including five new burgers that have recently been added to the menu. They also have a fantastic happy hour from 4pm to 8pm, where selected cocktails, beers, wines, and other drinks are offered “buy one, get one free.”
